Love, Joy, Peace...

What we believe...

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living.

We believe in the ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute, invisible deity. Before the Incarnation, this one true God manifested Himself in diverse ways. In the Incarnation, He manifests Himself in the Son, who walked among men. As he works in the lives of believers, He manifests Himself as the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; 2 Corinthians 5:19; Joel 2:28)

Throughout time, God has used different titles, such as "God Elohim," "God Almighty," and especially "Jehovah LORD," the redemptive name in the Old Testament. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given...and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6) This prophecy was fulfilled when the Son of God was named. "..and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21

We believe that there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

We believe that everyone needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the Gospel by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, (burial) and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spririt gives the utterance. (Resurrection). See 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 1 Peter 4:17, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:37-39, and Romans 6:3-4.

As Bible believing Christians, we are called to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the Church today! (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
